PBZ Train Abilities and Refund Remnant Dust
Open Train Abilities at a bell, distinguish item unlocks from Remnant Dust training costs, and use the documented reset command in Phantom Blade Zero.
FAQ
Is this the same as weapon reforging?
What is the documented PC reset key?
Phantom Blade Zero (PBZ)
How do you train an unlocked ability?
Use the bell menu to enter Train Abilities, select the intended node, and inspect its description before confirming the training input. Keep the selected ability name in view while checking the cost. A preview or highlighted icon is not itself proof that the node has been trained; verify the resulting status on that screen.
- Interact with a bell and choose Train Abilities.
- Select an unlocked node and read its conditions and cost.
- Use the displayed training input; the recorded PC screen uses held Space.
How do you reset the ability tree?
On the documented PC ability screen, P is the reset command. Read the confirmation before proceeding and check your current build first, particularly if you are about to test a single replacement ability. A full reset is a broader action than changing one node; keep a note of the setup you want to rebuild.
Why is an ability unavailable despite having Dust?
A resource balance does not satisfy every unlock condition. Inspect the item requirement as well as the training cost. If a node is still locked, record the exact missing item rather than repeatedly trying the same purchase. This page does not treat every skill as immediately available merely because a reset refunds your spending.
