Phantom Blade Zero (PBZ)

Should a trophy run begin on the hardest mode?

The documented route does not require it. Choose a setting that lets you progress and investigate side content reliably. Keep the challenge you personally want separate from a trophy requirement: unnecessary difficulty can make it harder to notice quests and progression warnings. The guide’s single-run route still depends on satisfying its missable conditions.

What checkpoints are worth preserving?

Keep clearly identified manual records around region transitions and before major quest cutoffs. Record what you had completed when making each save. If the journal marks something failed, investigate before replacing your recovery point. The True Ending route deserves its own checklist, because general exploration alone does not prove that all required tales are finished.

Can you clean up everything after finishing the story?

The described post-story state allows return visits before New Game Plus, but it does not reverse already missed tales. Separate ordinary collectibles from quest-dependent rewards when planning cleanup. Before starting another cycle, inspect what remains and use the current journal and trophy descriptions rather than assuming every unfinished objective will remain available.
